The First International Workshop on Border Security Technologies 

in conjunction with the  WASA'09

WBST 2009 is an international forum for researchers, engineers and practitioners to discuss new ideas, research, development and applications of security technologies, which are being driven forward by demands from real world applications, such as border control. Via this forum, the communities of academia, industry and government meet together to utilize, create and develop the state-of-the-art technologies related to border security.

The workshop will be held in conjunction with the Intl. Conf. on Wireless Algorithms, Systems and Applications (WASA'09). The workshop proceedings will be published by Springer LNCS. Conference registration and accommnodation will be handled by WASA.

Paper submission 

Original research papers in the relevant areas are solicited. All papers will be peer reviewed by the Program Committee on the basis of technical quality, relevance to topics, originality, significance, and clarity.

Papers must be no longer than 10 pages, including text, figures, references, and appendices. The font size used in the text of your submission must not be smaller than 10 points.

All accepted papers will be included in a proceeding published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (LNCS), and will be available for distribution at the workshop. Submissions are strongly encouraged to follow the LNCS format. For LNCS templates for word or latex, please visit Information for LNCS Authors.
